Obituary
John Dean,Sr.,aged 71 years as of yesterday,January 13,died Monday morning,January 14,1929,at 8 o'clock in his home at 1104 Meadow avenue. Mr.Dean has been a resident of Charleroi for many years and was very well known throughout this vicinity. He is survived by the following sons and daughters,his wife having died about three years ago;John Dean,Jr.,William Dean,Mrs.Joseph Kendrick,Mrs.Richard Johns and Mrs.Ethel Williams,of Charleroi and Mrs.Samuel Claybaugh and Mrs.Joseph Liptow of Ford City.Funeral services will be held Thursday aternoon at 2:30 o'clock from his late home with Rev.R.J.Shields of the First Presbyterian Church in charge. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
