Obituary

Hannah Bennett, 86, of Belle Vernon went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in her home. A daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Turnbull Sethman, she was born in the family home on January 3, 1926. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Linda and Jeffrey Pendo and Debbie Gantner, all of Belle Vernon, one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Nora Bennett, Jr. of Fayette City, one sister, Martha Warner of Independence, Missouri, seven grandchildren, Eric Bennett and his wife, Mimoza, Chuck Bennett and his wife, Jill, Brian Bennett, Shawn Pendo and his wife Jennifer, Jennifer Pendo and her fiancé, Jeff DeWitt, Tom Gantner and his wife, Kristina and Scott Gantner, five great-grandchildren, Madison and Siera Bennett and Zachary, Logan and Tyler Gantner, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark E. Bennett on December 12, 2006, one son-in-law, Jeffrey Gantner in 2011, five sisters, Ethel Venneri, Florence Calametti, Margaret Carr, Norma Seibert and Dorothy Rainey and three brothers, Richard, Howard and Harry Sethman, Jr. Friends will be received 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
